Requirement review / supplier coordination
Define the requested coordination scope before asking brake pad manufacturers for comparable terms. Padgrove Sourcing is an independent sourcing partner, not a production plant.
Wholesale inquiries still need the same identity fields. A brake pad wholesale listing is not interchangeable with an axle-specific set until geometry, hardware, and packing units match.
The buyer supplies vehicle year/make/model, engine or chassis identifiers, axle and caliper code, pad profile and thickness, friction-material family, backing-plate construction, wear-sensor interface, pieces per axle, and the order unit. Drawings are welcome after contact if the form cannot carry files.
Ask each manufacturer which batch identifier will appear on production lots, what material designation is printed on the quotation, whether shims and sensors ship in the same pack, and whether the offer is new or remanufactured.
Separate unit cost, axle-set cost, packing, freight, taxes, and service costs. Minimum order quantity, if stated, must use the same set definition. Unstated MOQ is recorded as open, not invented.
Record the approved sample identity, unresolved fitment items, and each party’s delivery responsibility. Sample acceptance is not a blanket statement that later lots match without agreed checks.
